Justin Hamilton. The Big Ham.
The Toronto Raptors have acquired Hamilton from the Brooklyn Nets, trading Demarre Carol and a couple of draft picks.
This sheds the salary that Demarre was going to receive from Toronto, and adds in a 7 foot centre eager to make a name for himself in the North. Averaging 6.9 Points per game, 4 Rebounds and shooting 45.9% from the field, he will become a great rotational player for the North Side. His defensive presence will become a huge upside for Toronto, as he is willing to grind and put his body on the line for his team.
Hamilton's difference in pay from Demarre Carol helps out the Raptors organization and could potentially lead to a more high profile trade in the near future???
Overall, a great move by Toronto.
